How do you deal with unwanted attention? Which I'm sure you get plenty of.

Easy, I tell them that their attention is unwanted and then I simply ignore the person if they continue on. Should they begin to get aggressive, I let Mr Holmes and security deal with it. There is no reason that you should ever have to listen to them if you do not wish to. I do hope this helps.

A swatch of wallpaper and a search through the tumblr background themes was all it took. That and a bit of messing with the settings and code to get the colors and font I wanted. In fact, the theme itself is called ‘Office’ if that helps any.

Separating your emotions from the job at hand can be difficult, but not impossible. First, take a moment to step back and look at the bigger picture. Will your emotions help or hinder the job at hand? If it’s the latter, start working on trying to manage your emotions. Do your best to hold them back, or even tell yourself that you will wait until you get home to fully feel those emotions. It may take a while, but you’ll be rewarded in the long run!

Just when I think there couldn't possibly be any more aguideto's, Mycroft posts a link to yours! Ahahaha! It's so bloody charming! But anyways, I don't know if you've posted anything about this already, but how do you deal with procrastination, or with work you feel like dying everytime you think about it?

Yes, Mr Holmes was very obliging when I asked if he could possibly post a link to my blog for those interested in learning to assist others. As to how to deal with procrastination, I’ve found that pushing off something in order to do something equally important. If you have nothing else to do that has to be done within the same time frame I’m afraid you must just ‘buck up’ and get to it. The sooner you start the sooner you’ll finish. And finally, to answer your last question, I always find that rewarding myself for doing something I detest always helps me make it through. For instance, giving yourself a piece of gum or chocolate for every task that you manage to make it through.

First things first, I apologize for being offline for so long. Give it about a week and I should be back up and running. Between school, being forced to take care of some family issues, and computer issues I haven’t had time for this blog and for that I apologize most sincerely. guys, I know it has been a very long while since I’ve been on, and I’m sorry for that. I just recently finished yet another trying semester of college and as soon as my finals were over I was hoping to start right back up with posting again. Hey, Anthea! I might end up interning somewhere in a year or so, do you have any tips for getting through the first few days and juggling all the needs of who you're interning under?

Of course! The first few days will be a bit rough. You’ll be getting used to a new environment and a boss that may ask a lot of you. Keep a pen and notebook handy so that you can take notes and keep yourself organized. Don’t feel bad if they start you off with small tasks, they will gradually move you up to bigger ones. Also remember that once you get the hang of things, your internship will get easier.
